The Product
SwivX is a patented Bluetooth posture device from SwivX LLC. It attaches to the back of a phone, tablet or gaming device with MagSafe — nothing is strapped to your body — and gives a discreet vibration whenever your viewing angle drops below the position you set. The app has been live on the App Store since April 2025 and is on Google Play as well.
My Role
From December 2025 to April 2026 I worked on the mobile app and the admin panel. The device, its electronics and the core posture tracking were already in place, built by other teams. My part: the new SwivX Fitness experience in the app, premium subscriptions with RevenueCat, and a new admin panel to manage the exercise content behind it.

- SwivX Fitness: exercise library with body-region selection, cardio and other regions, home and gym workout types, a random workout generator and Firebase-backed exercise CRUD.
- Sharing: a shared-workout page, sharing workouts by email and remote sharing with a share limit.
- Animated Previews: exercise video previews on Android, a scaling animation and full-screen preview.
- Premium with RevenueCat: subscription integration with platform-specific keys, Basic and Premium plans, entitlement and product IDs matched to the RevenueCat dashboard, safe cache invalidation and premium status refreshed on screen focus.
- Paywall & Access: premium-only sharing, share-access checks, and paywall fixes on both iOS and Android.
- Admin Panel: Next.js + Tailwind from scratch, Firebase Auth with protected routes, exercise CRUD with categories, filters and pagination, drag-and-drop image and video uploads to Firebase Storage, toast notifications.
- Polish & Stability: keyboard handling and auto-scroll in the exercise library,

What Changed
SwivX Fitness shipped in the app's latest release — people can now create their own exercises and build routines — on top of subscriptions and a content panel the team can run on its own.
What I Learned
Working with a global client across time zones taught me to communicate asynchronously and clearly — short updates, small PRs, decisions written down. Owning the app, the paywall and the admin panel together made me think full stack and product-first: every exercise added in the panel had to feel right in someone’s hand.
